EASTON NEWS

World Indoor Championship

Over the last week shooters from all over the world set their sights on the city that never sleeps. When they arrived in Vegas they never imagined that the city would live up to it. With heats starting at 7 am and shoot offs ending in the early evening our shooters showed no sign of breaking down. When Reo and his coach/brother Logan stepped up to shoot they showed now sign of exhaustion. Reo was relentless and proved once again why he remains on top. With Galiazzo, Wilde, Ellison, Kaminski, Chesse, the course has been set and Team Easton was well on its way!

Team Easton swept the gold medals at both the World Indoor Championship and the World Archery Indoor World Cup in Las Vegas this weekend, with stellar performances from Easton shooters like Italian Olympic Champion Marco Galiazzo, Americans Jake Kaminski, Reo Wilde, Brady Ellison, Russian shooter Ksenia Perova, British star Naomi Folkard, French stars Sandrine Vandionant and Joanna Chesse, and Germany's Lisa Unruh- all winning and placing with Easton.

Easton's total domination at all three major Vegas events included all the individual World Archery (FITA) Indoor Championship Titles in every category, all the gold medals at the World Archery (FITA) World Indoor Cup, and the vast majority of medals in the WAF Vegas Shoot.

Vegas saw some amazing shooters this past week and the competition was tight. A place where you cant afford to drop a point these shooters proved why they should be there. In addition to the above mentioned shooters please congratulate our own Logan Wilde for his amazing performance and score of 899 and 76 X's. And not to forget Jacob Phelps, Eric Griggs, Kevin Wilkey, Darrin Christenberry who also shot great rounds in the men's divisions.

Congratulations to Team Easton for another incredible performance!
