McCarthy & Easton Full Bore do Big Things in TX

Danny McCarthy, shooting Easton Full Bore arrows, won the Paris, TX ASA Pro-AM in an exciting but windy round. Danny was down at the beginning of the final shoot down but pulled through by shooting three 10's a 12 and a 14, putting him in a position to win. Danny shot a 12 on his last arrow to win the tournament against fellow Easton teammate Darrin Christianberry who was shooting the 2412 X7 Eclipse. Jeff Hopkins, another Easton teammate, also made a strong showing by making the final shoot down.

"[I] was drilling my arrows exactly where I wanted them," said McCarthy, who shot incredibly well in spite of sickness and a fever. "I'll be ready for Augusta later this month."

Not to be outdone, Alicia McHenry, shooting Easton FatBoys, kept fans on the edge of their seats as she made an impressive climb from fourth place in the final shoot down securing the win with her final arrow. Easton teammate Jeanna Allbritain finished third.

"The accuracy of the FatBoys gave me the edge I needed to come out on top," says McHenry.

Congratulations to all the Easton shooters - and we look forward to another dominating performance in Augusta.
