Customer Service Representative - Mountain Product
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Account Services Representative is responsible for all aspects of customer accounts management. This individual deals directly with mountain products and snowshoe customers. Eligible candidates must be proficient in all Word documents and be computer literate. Preference may be given to applicants that are enthusiastic about outdoor recreation, as this position will work with the Mountain Products Department including snowshoes and tent poles/stakes.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:
To take, process and follow up customer orders:
* Enter orders from customers, send fax confirmations and confirm bills to ensure order accuracy.
* Answer incoming phone calls promptly, and assist customers with their requests.
* Respond to inquiries from customers, dealers and distributors about products, questions, orders, and technical advice either by phone, fax, written correspondence or email.
* Provide dealers with up-to-date sales information.
* Resolve customer problems and complaints.
* Answer incoming technical questions and give correct product information to dealers and other customers.
* Help create additional sales by suggesting add-on items to incoming orders and telling customers about available product that may be helpful to their own customers.
* Communicate and maintain a positive relationship between Easton and customer accounts and sales reps.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must have at least 2 years of customer service experience
* Ability to communicate with a wide variety of people under many circumstances while maintaining a professional, helpful attitudel Basic computer skills, and the ability to learn new programs.
* Ability to type 40 w/m and use a 10-key by touch.
* Knowledge of mathematics, basic algebra and geometry and ability to figure amounts such as discounts and percentages.
* Strong ability to negotiate and solve practical problems.
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral and other forms.
* Strong ability to deal with strict deadlines and multiple task.
