TEAM KOREA SETS NEW WORLD RECORD

Team Korea’s recurve women wielded their Easton X10’s to a set a new World Record in qualification at the 2nd World Cup event of the season in Medellin, Colombia today, scoring 2032 to beat their own 10-year-old previous record of 2030 for the Team Round set at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens- a record also set with X10’s.

With three team members each shooting 72 arrows at 70 meters, a perfect score would be 2160 points for the round.

Korea also swept the top three places in the women’s qualification, as did the Korean men’s team.

Easton X10’s are the sole arrow chosen by Korea’s recurve competitors, and hold every current adult outdoor recurve world record and Olympic title since 1996.
