Team Easton Continues Domination of Indoor Circuit Taking 10 of 12 Podium Slots

Berlin, Germany—The Berlin Open, the second-largest indoor event in Europe, has seen new records set and 10 of 12 podiums taken with Easton arrow shafts.  A total recurve division sweep saw shooters from Europe and Korea dominate the podium, with Korea’s CHUNG Sun Eun taking the gold with X10 shafts—the same arrow that dominates long-distance outdoor competition worldwide.  Easton shooter Lisa UNRUH (GER) took silver with X7 arrows, while Korea’s JANG Hye Jin and her X10’s rounded out the women’s podium with her bronze medal win.

German shooters Carlo SCHMITZ and Camilo MAYR took men’s recurve gold and bronze with Easton X7’s, while Rick van der VEN (NED) took silver with X10’s.

 Two-time World Cup Grand Final Champion Sergio PAGNI (ITA) took men’s compound with a decisive victory aided by the surgical precision of his Easton Fatboys, while Ruben BLYENDAALL  (NED) took bronze with X7.  Two-time World Champion Albina LOGINOVA  (RUS) and Irina MARCOVIC (NED) took women’s compound silver and bronze with Easton X7’s.

 Meanwhile, Mike SCHLOSSER (NED) set a new European Compound Junior Record, with an amazing 598/600 (World Archery scoring) performance in qualification.
